2020 Hosts, Deals, Prizes & Swag

Hosts & Deals

Bay View Boat Club has tentatively scheduled their Bradford Island BBQ for August 8. If they're able to hold it, they'll have room for up to six Delta Doo Dah boats to anchor out in the lee of a tule berm.

Delta Bay Marina in Isleton will host us on Sunday, August 9. For details, see our Itinerary. Reserve a slip at (916) 777-4153.

Owl Harbor Marina on the San Joaquin River invites Delta Doo Dah sailors to join the marina tenants for Dinghy Poker Run & BBQ on August 15. See our Itinerary page for details. A map of the entrance and dock layout are available here. Reserve a slip at (916) 777-6055.

Richmond Yacht Club had been planning to host our Delta Seminar & Kickoff Party, on the evening of Saturday, May 16. Win door prizes! Learn from presenters and fellow cruisers! Share your own knowledge with other sailors! Bill Wells, commodore of the Delta Chambers, will speak about the Delta past and present. Due to COVID-19, we are moving this event online.

Stockton Sailing Club on the San Joaquin River had planned to host Delta Doo Dah sailors in conjunction with the Delta Ditch Run on June 6. However, the Ditch Run has been canceled and the bar is closed. The club nevertheless still offers all official Delta Doo Dah entries three free nights in the harbor anytime during the year. SSC can arrange shuttle service to the grocery store or West Marine. "Stockton is a great place to start your DDD adventure," writes our friend at SSC, Tom Lueck. "After arriving you can pick up some local knowledge of places to go. It makes sense to start here and work your way back toward the Bay so that as your DDD vacation comes to an end you are only hours away from your home port." Call (209) 951-5600 to reserve a slip.
