Delta Doo Dah X was a Do-It-Yourself rally that included opportunities to sail and/or socialize with fellow fleet members.

Thursday, April 5, 2018: Registration opens.

Saturday, May 12, 6-9 p.m.: Delta Cruising Seminar & Kickoff Party at Richmond Yacht Club, led by Craig & Ann Perez of the Express 34 Marrakesh, RYC; Christine Weaver of the Laser 28 Stink Eye, RYC; and Tom Lueck of the Hunter 41 Sir Leansalot, Stockton SC. Breakout sessions will cover anchoring, destinations and the Bay Bash. Pre-ordered Delta Doo Dah X burgees and caps will be available to pick up; extras will be available to purchase; and gear from previous years will be on sale. We'll have giveaways for everyone and door prize drawings for many lucky sailors. RYC's bar will be open for drinks (bring cash), and will provide free appetizers. Come meet your fellow cruisers!

Friday, June 1. Doo Dah Ditch Run boats are welcome to stay at Richmond YC for free. The club will be open for dinner and drinks on Friday night. Bring cash if you want to partake. Call (510) 234-6959 to arrange for dock space.

Saturday, June 2, 7:30 a.m.: Breakfast burritos at Richmond YC, $8. Order in advance from the Ditch Run storefront.

Doo Dah Ditch Run. Race or cruise from Richmond YC to Stockton Sailing Club with the Delta Ditch Run. Cover the entire 67 miles in one day, then stick around at SSC for a big party on Saturday night. Saturday morning 6:00 a.m. and Saturday night 11:00 p.m. buses are available for crew to get from SSC to RYC (reserve online in advance; $25). To arrange for dock space past Sunday, call (209) 951-5600.

At SSC: 5:00 p.m.-midnight: Bar(s) open. 6:00-10:00 p.m.: Dinner, $15. (Food will be available until the last boat arrives.) 8:00-midnight: Live dance band Blue-A-Fuse.

Sunday, June 3. Post-Ditch Run activities at Stockton Sailing Club. 7:00-8:30 a.m.: Breakfast. 9:00 a.m.: awards. Between the awards and lunchtime, we'll give away some door prizes (you must be an official Delta Doo Dah entry and you must be present to win). Noon: Lunch.

Saturday, June 16, 1-4 p.m.: Join Owl Harbor for a tenant and Delta Doo Dah X BBQ. Owl Harbor will provide free food and drinks for two people per boat; additional guests can purchase meal/drink bands for $10 each. Homemade pie contest at 2 p.m.; prizes, games. Saturday-Sunday, August 11-12: Bay View Boat Club invites Delta Doo Dah sailors to their Bradford Island property on the San Joaquin River for their Annual Delta Party, which includes a big BBQ and live music on Saturday evening. Cost is $10; there may be a potluck breakfast on Sunday morning. Up to six Delta Doo Dah boats can be accommodated, but be prepared to anchor bow and stern to the tule berm. This is a primitive location: There is no drinking water and no shorepower, but there are two heads.
