Delta Conservation Framework Workshops, Jean Harvie Community Center, Walnut Grove, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is working with federal, state, and local agencies, and the Delta stakeholder community, to develop a 25-year, high-level conservation framework for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, Yolo Bypass and Suisun Marsh. The Delta Conservation Framework will serve as the long-term continuation of California EcoRestore, an initiative of the California Natural Resources Agency. The Delta Stewardship Council expects the Delta Conservation Framework to lay the foundation for a Delta Plan ecosystem restoration amendment that will more comprehensively address the conservation of terrestrial, transitional and aquatic habitats, as well as their integration at the landscape scale. California Clean Boating Network meeting, Martinez Yacht Club, 9:15 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Topics include an update on the Statewide Clean Boating Program, the new California Boater Card, the SAVE Grant Program, Delta aquatic weeds, and a new pumpout app for boaters. Holiday Golf Cart Parade and Potluck, Tower Park Resort & Marina, 5:00-8:00 p.m. Bring a dish to share and a new, unwrapped toy for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
